Tech-Air Service

Performance Cycle is one of two Alpinestars Factory Authorized Tech-Air Service Centers in the United States. Our expert staff is fully trained to ensure your downtime is kept to a minimum! In most cases, we can offer next business day turnaround on service items like cartridge replacements.

See below for instructions on how to process your service request, whether your local or out-of-state, our goal is to get your Tech-Air® serviced and back on your body where it belongs as quickly as possible!

Tech-Air® Service Request Instructions


Step 1 – Complete The Tech-Air Service Rquest Form
  • Download the Service Request form linked below.
  • Complete all fields, accuracy is vey important!
  • List your airbag model, serial number. 
  • Clearly describe any issues or error lights.
  • Select the requested service.
  • Provide your return address.

Step 2 – Send Us Your Airbag 
  • Include the completed Service Request in the box with your Tech-Air® airbag.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your protection. 

Step 3 – Service Timeline 
  • Canister Replacements : Processed and shipped back within 24–48 hours of arrival, assuming the required parts are in stock. 
  • Troubleshooting : You will receive an email within 24–48 hours confirming status or next steps. 
  • Repairs Requiring Factory Service : If the issue cannot be solved in-store, the airbag will be sent to the Alpinestars Service Center. This process can take up to 4 weeks. 

Step 4 – Communication & Updates
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your airbag is checked in.
  • Additional updates will be provided if your unit requires manufacturer service.
  • Once service is complete, you will get a tracking number for the return shipment.

Step 5 – Return Shipping
  • Your airbag will be shipped back to you at the address provided on the Service Request Form via insured ground shipping unless otherwise requested. 
  • If you need expedited return shipping, please note it on your intake form.
