Does Performance Cycle mount tires on the bike?

No, we only mount tires if the wheels have been taken off the bike. If you cannot take the wheels off yourself, we can recommend you to Colorado Moto Service. You may purchase the tires from Performance Cycle (best tire prices in town!) and we will deliver them to Colorado Moto Service before your appointment time.

How much does tire mounting cost?

If the tires are purchased from Performance Cycle, we will mount and balance them for $30 per wheel (plus additional taxes and shop supply fees) as long as the wheels are off the bike. If the tires were purchased elsewhere, the charge is $40 (plus additional taxes and shop supply fees) as long as the wheels are off the bike.

Does Performance Cycle balance the wheel as well?

Yes, we do balance the wheel. This service is included in your tire mounting fee. We use a Snap-On computer spin balancer to ensure accurate results every time. 

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, Performance Cycle mounts tires on a first come first serve basis.

How long do I have to wait?

Because our tire services are on a first come, first serve basis, wait times can vary. We try to get you in and out as quickly as we can but plan on dropping your wheels off for a couple hours just to be on the safe side. 

What should I bring?

Leave anything at home that can fall off (including any spacers, axles, sprockets, etc). Anything that is bolted on to the wheel, leave on (ie. rotors).
